Deep cleaning
acoustic PET panels
Innovative material that resists water and extreme stains
Acoustic panels made from PET felt (recycled plastic bottles) not only offer excellent sound insulation properties and a modern design, their biggest hidden advantage is extreme dirt resistance and hassle-free maintenance.
Material that is not damaged by water
Unlike traditional materials (such as wood, MDF boards or regular acoustic foam), PET felt is absolutely not damaged by water. Thanks to its synthetic composition, the material does not absorb moisture into its internal structure in such a way that it can swell, deform or develop mold. This property makes it an ideal candidate for professional wet cleaning (taping).
The fiber structure remains unchanged, firm and retains its original shape and color after drying.
Water and vacuum force:
How does tapping work?
Extreme soiling, such as spilled wine, ketchup or melted chocolate, may seem like a disaster. However, this is not the case with PET panels. The cleaning process with a pressure washer is fast and highly effective:
** Dissolving dirt: Water (possibly in combination with a mild detergent) safely
It penetrates between the fibers and dissolves dried stain components.
** Mechanical loosening: A soft brush will break up the surface layer of dirt (such as
chocolates).
** Vacuum extraction: Thanks to the strong vacuum, the beater immediately sucks out the water along with all the dirt
away from the material. The dirt is not smeared, but is physically pulled out.
Case Study: Extreme Test
For the demonstration, we exposed the panel to three very aggressive stains: red wine, ketchup, and chocolate. Once dry, the panel was cleaned using only water and an extraction beater.

Video demonstration of the cleaning process
We have prepared a clear video demonstration for you, where you can see how water and vacuum literally pull dirt out of the panel without damaging it.
